Prof. Weishan Zhang

Biography: He has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (research on high generalizability fault prediction method based on brain-like cognition), the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province (research on parallel data-driven fault prediction model in fast-slow combined cloud environment, and research on reliable service migration technology in fast-slow combined pervasive cloud computing environment). He has undertaken a number of big data vertical projects of artificial intelligence, such as sub-topics of the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the Special Project on Innovation Methods of MOST, and so on. data vertical projects, as well as a number of horizontal projects of Haier, Aerospace Science and Industry, PetroChina Exploration Institute, and North China Oilfield. He ranked first in the second prize of Shandong Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress (Adaptive Federal Intelligence Key Technology Research and Industrialization), the third prize of Qingdao Municipal Technological Invention (5G Artificial Intelligence Community Key Technology Research and Demonstration), the third prize of Huangdao District Natural Science Prize (Intelligent Processing of Video Big Data), as well as a number of other provincial and ministerial level awards.
He has published more than 70 SCI journal papers in the last five years (including more than 20 in Region II or above). Including TCC, TII, TSC, etc. Published more than 70 papers in English international conferences. By July 2023, according to Google Scholar, the total number of citations is more than 2900, H-index is 26, i10-index is 76. 3 highly cited papers, including 2 ESI highly cited papers related to federal learning.
Research interests: big data intelligent processing, artificial intelligence, autonomous computing, etc., involving national strategic emerging industries in various fields such as intelligent manufacturing, smart city, etc.
Prof. Guojian Cheng
Xi’an Shiyou University, China, Xi’an Peihua University, China
Biography: He has long been engaged in teaching and research in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The main research topics involve the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in geoscience and petroleum engineering. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, big data technology, pattern recognition, data mining, image processing, and intelligent reservoir engineering. He has presided over and completed two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, "Theoretical and Practical Research on Hybrid Soft Computing System for Reservoir Simulation" and "Research on Reservoir History Fitting Agent Model Based on Kernel Vector Machines". During his visit to the Department of Petroleum Engineering of West Virginia University, he organized a series of seven lectures on "Computational Intelligence and its Applications in Petroleum Engineering".
He has published more than 200 articles in related academic research fields and international conferences, and more than 20 books in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning. He initiated the "Intelligent Digital Oilfield Forum (iDOF)" and the annual academic conference, and gave lectures on "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Oilfield Technology Application and International Dynamics" for oilfield enterprises and institutions; he has given lectures on "Artificial Intelligence, the Future is Now" in the training courses for cadres of provincial organs. "He has been invited to be the speaker and chairman of many international academic conferences.
He is a member of CCF of China Computer Society, a member of Microelectronics Committee of CCF of Shaanxi Province, a director of Computer Education Society of Shaanxi Province, a member of SPE of International Society of Petroleum Engineers; a member of European Geophysical Society; an editorial board member of Journal of Xi'an University of Petroleum (Natural Science Edition); and an assessor of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been the leader of the master's program of Software Engineering and Theory in the School of Computer Science of Xi'an Petroleum University, the director of the Institute of Intelligent Digital Oilfield, and was honored with the title of Outstanding Returned Scholar in Shaanxi Province in 2009.
Prof. Deyu Qi
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies South China Business College, China
Biography: Currently, he is the director of Digital Science and Technology Research Institute of South China Business School, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and the executive vice president of Digital Science and Technology Branch of Guangdong Higher Education Society.
His research interests include new generation computer system architecture, software development methodology and software architecture, CASE and software development environment and tools, distributed systems, computer system security, etc. The application directions include cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things, information security, system software and application software, and high-performance computing, etc. He is also the director of the Institute of Digital Science and Technology of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
Academic Achievements: Won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Collective Award, won two provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards as the first complete person, has published more than 200 academic papers, has been authorized by 13 invention patents, and has written and published the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" planning textbook "Data Structure and Algorithm" and the graduate textbook "Data Structure and Algorithm". He has written and published the national "11th Five-Year Plan" textbook "Data Structure and Algorithms" and the postgraduate textbook "Computer Formalization Techniques". He has trained nearly 300 master's students, 30 doctoral students and 3 postdoctoral fellows, 5 of whom have been awarded the title of professor and many of whom have been awarded the title of associate professor.
Associate Prof. Farhan Ullah
Northwestern Polytechnical University, China
Biography: FARHAN ULLAH is an Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. In 2020, he received a Doctor of Engineering in Computer Science (PhD) degree from the College of Computer Science at Sichuan University Chengdu, China. He received a full-time Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) for his Ph.D. studies. He was a special issue Lead Guest Editor for the Computers, Materials, and Continua and Security and Communication Network Journals. He is a member of the editorial board of the KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems Journal. In 2016, he earned the Research Productivity Award (RPA) from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) in Sahiwal, Pakistan. He was invited as a reviewer for several SCIE international journals, including IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Computers & Security, Computers and Electrical Engineering, and others. He has published 50+ SCIE articles in several international journals. His research work has been published in various renowned journals of IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, MDPI, and Hindawi.
